Approval Granted for Regeneration in Villages and Emergency Rescue (RIVER) Project

Formal approval has been granted for the Regeneration in Villages and Emergency Rescue (RIVER) Project. The RIVER project is supported by the European Union's INTERREG IVA Programme, managed by the Special EU Programmes Body and delivered by the North East Partnership.
This project aims to regenerate towns and villages on inland waterways in the North East of Northern Ireland, Cavan in the Republic of Ireland, and Argyll and Bute in Western Scotland. The project also facilitates the provision of voluntary rescue services in the North East Region of Northern Ireland.
